Gladys Porter Zoo

Brownsville is part of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, and is home to hundreds of species of birds, many of which aren't seen elsewhere in Texas or the United States. Every year, bird watchers from all over travel to Brownsville for their incredible birding festival, which consists of field trips, seminars and other fun events.
